Job summary

Heller’s Gas in Maryland seeks a Delivery Technician to transport propane, perform safety checks, and install/maintain propane systems at customer sites. The role requires a Class B CDL with hazmat endorsements and strong troubleshooting skills.

You will drive field assignments, ensure safe operations, and provide excellent customer service while following regulatory requirements. This position offers full-time hours and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with computers or mobile devices used in service.
• Employment is contingent on clean driving record, background checks, and pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Transfer propane from bulk storage to truck and to customer tanks.
• Verify tank information and serial numbers upon delivery.
• Perform visual inspections and report issues.
• Monitor truck tank levels and ensure adequate supply.
• Maintain stocked tools and supplies; keep vehicles clean.
• Educate customers on safe operation and maintenance.
