Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. in Taylor, MO is seeking an Energy Service Technician. Under the Energy Service Manager, you will gain the training to perform propane and refined fuel services safely while delivering excellent customer service and supporting part-time fuel deliveries.

This exempt role requires a high school diploma, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to obtain a CDL within six months. You will conduct installations, maintain records, drive to customer sites, manage inventory, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or related certification preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of propane, fuel and energy systems an advantage.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Performs service related to propane and refined fuel installations following policy manuals.
• Prepares and maintains records; documents work; obtains customer signatures.
• Drives to deliver propane and refined fuel to customers.
• Replaces outdated propane regulators at customer sites.
• Maintain inventory controls and conduct regular counts.
• Sales-oriented mindset; engage customers on contracts and programs.
• Complete regular activity reports; maintain company equipment.
