Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking an Energy Service Technician to perform propane and refined fuel installations, deliver fuels, and maintain equipment and records. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and adherence to policy manuals.

The position requires a high school diploma (technical certification preferred) and a valid CDL within six months, with potential overtime and bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or equivalent certification in energy systems or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of propane, fuel, and energy systems is an advantage.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs propane and refined fuel installations, following the Propane Policy Manual.
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures; documents all work and obtains signatures.
• Drives to deliver Propane & Refined fuel to customers' homes or businesses.
• Replaces outdated propane regulators at customers' locations and maintains inventory controls.
• Maintain inventory controls to reduce losses and improve efficiency; conduct regular counts.
• Actively solicit new business and discuss contracts, fill-ups, and marketing programs.
• Handle complaints promptly; complete regular activity reports.
