Job summary

Townsend Energy in New Hampshire is seeking Seasonal Propane - LP Delivery Drivers (November through April). You will load, deliver, and unload propane to residential addresses while following DOT safety standards and route schedules.

We cross-train for propane and oil delivery and offer competitive hourly pay with bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and a schedule that includes day shifts and occasional Saturdays in Epping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year propane delivery experience or similar preferred.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to input data on a tablet and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload fuel truck for delivery.
• Deliver to correct addresses safely and efficiently.
• Follow routes and time schedules.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Pay Rate: $30.00 to $35.00 + per hour, depending on experience + bonus pay

Hours: Day Shift, 8-hour workday; flexible start time

Schedule: Full time, with on-call rotation | Occasional Saturday's

What You Will Be Doing:

• Loading and unloading fuel truck for delivery
• Making fuel deliveries in a safe and efficient manner to correct addresses
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Interreacting with customers and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner
• Conduct pre and post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment

What We Are Looking For:

• 1 year of propane delivery experience - Desired
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Valid CDL (minimum B)
• Tanker, Air Brake, and Hazmat Endorsements
• CDL A & B preferred
• Pass DOT physical and other requirements
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps
• Previous experience with data entry skills to input data on a tablet preferred
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records
• Maintaining a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Licensure and Experience:

• Oil delivery
• CTEP Certified
• NH Propane license
• Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
• MA hoisting/crane license
• Medic First Aid and CPR card and be proficient in their application

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
