Job summary

Townsend Energy, founded in 1931, is hiring a Seasonal Oil Delivery Driver for November through April to service NH locations including Manchester and Epping. You will load and unload fuel, follow routes, and maintain safety standards while delivering to residential and light commercial customers.

Expect day shifts with an 8-hour schedule, on-call rotation, and occasional Saturdays. CDL B with Tanker/Air Brake/Hazmat endorsements are preferred; background check and drug test apply.

Qualifications

1 year oil delivery experience required.
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Valid CDL (minimum B) with Tanker, Air Brake, and Hazmat endorsements.

Responsibilities

Load and unload fuel from delivery truck.
Deliver fuel safely and on schedule to correct addresses.
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Interacting with customers and co-workers professionally.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Pay Rate: $30.00 to $35.00 + per hour, depending on experience + bonus pay

Hours: Day Shift, 8-hour workday; flexible start time

Schedule: Full time, with on-call rotation | Occasional Saturday's

What You Will be Doing:

Loading and unloading fuel truck for delivery
Making fuel deliveries in a safe and efficient manner to correct addresses
Follow routes and time schedule
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Interacting with customers and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner
Conduct pre and post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment

What We Are Looking For:

1 year of oil delivery experience
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Valid CDL (minimum B)
Tanker, Air Brake, and Hazmat Endorsements
CDL A & B preferred
Pass DOT physical and other requirements
Ability to drive in a safe and courteous manner
Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps
Previous experience with data entry skills to input data on a tablet preferred
Ability to maintain basic logs and records
Able to remain professional and courteous at all times
Maintaining a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
