Pico Propane, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking an experienced dispatcher to coordinate propane equipment installations and service appointments.

The Dispatcher’s primary responsibility is to ensure all equipment, personnel, and infrastructure are scheduled efficiently. Duties include scheduling deliveries, reviewing routes, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of dispatch experience in the propane/oil industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule deliveries for customers and instruct drivers and technicians.
• Review and adjust routes to improve efficiency.
• Review customer accounts for delivery needs.
• Respond to inquiries and monitor customer satisfaction.
• Maintain open communication between management and drivers.
• Provide delivery status updates to customers.
• Create and modify delivery orders as needed.
• Ensure billing accuracy for gas deliveries.
• Identify equipment and tank needs.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
