Job summary

Heller’s Gas, Inc. is seeking a delivery technician to transport propane, perform safety checks, and install/maintain propane systems. The role requires a Class B CDL with tanker, air brake, and hazmat endorsements, and involves outdoor fieldwork with customer interaction.

Responsibilities include transfer and verification of propane, equipment inspections, and providing safety education to customers, with an emphasis on safe and compliant operation in varying weather and site conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Class B CDL with tanker, air brake, and hazmat endorsements is required.

Responsibilities

• Transfer propane from bulk storage to truck and to customer tanks.
• Verify tank information on delivery (serial number).
• Perform visual inspections and report issues.
• Monitor truck tank levels and ensure adequate supply.
• Install, maintain, and repair propane tanks, gas piping, and appliances.
• Educate customers on safe operation and maintenance.
