Job summary

Heller’s Gas, Inc. is seeking a delivery technician to transport propane to customers, perform leak tests, and maintain equipment in a field role across the Mid-Atlantic region.

The ideal candidate will have a Class B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. The position involves outdoor work, travel as needed, and the responsibility to educate customers on safe operation and maintenance of propane systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in service or propane industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to customers and transfer from bulk to truck.
• Perform leak tests and safety checks on equipment.
• Operate company vehicle safely and maintain it.
• Install, remove, repair propane tanks and gas appliances.
• Educate customers on proper and safe operation of systems.
• Complete paperwork such as work orders and invoices.
