Job summary

Heller’s Gas is seeking a Delivery Technician to transport propane to customers, perform leak tests, and service propane tanks and systems. The role requires operating a company vehicle safely, installing and maintaining propane equipment, and educating customers on safe usage.

Field work with potential after-hours calls is expected. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, and prior experience in service or maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL with hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Experience with service tech or industrial gas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transfer propane from bulk storage to truck and from truck to customer tanks.
• Verify tank information on delivery including serial numbers.
• Perform visual inspections and report issues.
• Maintain truck and supplies and ensure safe operation.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Relevant experience preferred

Familiarity with computers or mobile devices used in service

Valid Class B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements
