Job summary

Stratas Foods LLC in Memphis, TN, seeks a Trade Promotions Analyst to ensure trade, brokerage and promo programs are correctly established and maintained in systems, protecting company assets by validating payment and deduction data.

The role analyzes program activity, coordinates with the Commercial team to provide effectiveness data, and prepares reports tracking accruals and spending to support monthly P/L analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years business experience, preferably in Customer Service, Sales/Marketing or Accounting/Finance.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases and spreadsheets; ability to create formulas, link and summarize data.
• Strong problem solving, oral communication, judgment, and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documenting trade promotion data.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain marketing/promotion items in the system (rebates, brokerage, MAP funds, etc.).
• Research inquiries from customers and business partners related to promotions.
• Process trade promotion transactions and prepare payment requests for trade items.
• Receive deductions and review validity of programs; obtain support from customers and coordinate with them.
• Enter or review customer data to determine validity and accruals; analyze discrepancies.
• Prepare payment/deduction requests for items supported by existing programs and resolve discrepancies.
• Contact customers to secure repayment for invalid items and explain amounts allowed by the program.
• Maintain deduction data in the trade system and update status of open deductions.
• Prepare reports tracking payment requests, balances, and provide spending/accrual data for monthly analyses.
• Collaborate with Commercial team and onsite teams to achieve departmental objectives.
• Other projects to support Finance department.
