Job summary

Radio One is seeking a Promotions Assistant in Columbus, OH to support on-site events, remotes, and station appearances. You will help plan and execute promotions, represent the brand at various events, and coordinate with the Promotions team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. This part-time position offers hands-on promotional exposure in a dynamic media environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up and represent various radio stations at on-site appearances and events.
• Assist with setup/execution of station events, remotes and appearances; maintain equipment.
• Develop and carry out creative ways to increase public awareness of the station.
• Present a positive attitude and be the contact between listeners and stations during events.
• Upkeep and maintenance of station vehicles and equipment.
• Set up and maintain equipment for live broadcasts and remotes.
• Liaise for promotions with stations during events and appearances.
• Coordinate with Marketing & Promotions Director and team.
