Job summary

Federated Media in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking part-time Promotions Assistants to support our radio stations at concerts, client events, festivals, and community promotions. You’ll help with setup, equipment transport, and on-site coordination.

You’ll work with our promotions and on-air teams to ensure events run smoothly, operate basic audio gear, handle equipment, and interact professionally with listeners and partners. Prior radio/broadcast experience isn’t required—we’ll train you.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic.
• Willing to learn basic audio and broadcast equipment.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assignments.

Responsibilities

• Drive station vehicles to remote broadcasts, appearances, and events.
• Load and unload equipment and promotional materials.
• Set up and tear down equipment at remote broadcasts.
• Set up microphones, speakers, PA systems, banners, tables, and other gear.
• Test equipment and connections before broadcasts begin.
• Assist on-air personalities during live broadcasts and appearances.
• Help with event execution, listener interaction, and promotions.
• Inventory and organize equipment before/after events.
