The Remote Promotional Systems Manager is responsible for the creation, management, and execution of all property promotions and special events, with a focus on setting up and optimizing the systems and technologies that support these activities. This role ensures all promotional systems operate efficiently and in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, while enhancing guest experiences and achieving departmental revenue targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Manage all aspects of property promotions and special events from conception to implementation, with a focus on promotional systems.
  • Set up, manage, and optimize promotional systems and technologies to ensure efficient operation and integration with other property systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on promotional systems and tools.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions, events, and special offers throughout the company.
  • Supervise and manage staff within the Promotional Systems Department, developing operational goals and monitoring performance and profit objectives.
  • Support and promote superior customer service standards, ensuring all team members adhere to these standards and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance within the area of responsibility and report potential issues to Marketing Leadership.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, information technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively challenging leadership roles in marketing, operations, or IT.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and promotional systems.
  • Strong client interface and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues diplomatically and tactfully.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret bar graphs.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time and tasks effectively.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has supervisory responsibilities.

  • Responsible for staff development and training programs.
  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.
  • Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
  • Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
