Job summary

Lincoln Electric System seeks an Electrical Projects Engineer to support planning, design, coordination, and execution of electric utility infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with engineers, operations teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to develop practical solutions, manage project scopes and schedules, and ensure work meets industry standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited institution or equivalent
Engineer III requires at least three years of progressively responsible engineering experience or equivalent
Senior Engineer requires PE license and 6–10 years of experience, or 10–14 years with equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Prepares engineering designs, work specifications, and reviews contracts, standards, drawings, work orders, specifications, equipment submittals, and related approval documentation.
Monitors and coordinates the work of external consultants, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
Performs electrical engineering analyses related to NEC, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 70B standards.
Provides input on project planning, construction activities, equipment selection and outages.
Applies knowledge of PLCs, distributed control systems, HMIs, and Modbus protocols.
Provides project-management and engineering support for local facilities, with routine reporting.
