Job summary

Manar Foundation seeks a Project Manager in Istanbul (with field visits) to lead program activities, mentor staff, and ensure timely delivery. You will develop project plans, manage budgets, coordinate field work, and maintain stakeholder engagement in Arabic or English as required.

The role requires PMD Pro or PMP certification, 3–5 years in development projects, and fluency in Arabic with strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, International Development, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing development projects in economic and community empowerment.
• PMD Pro or PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to ensure project success and mentor staff.
• Contribute to concept notes and project proposals with R&D.
• Develop project plans (Gantt, resources, risks, cash flow) and monitor implementation.
• Participate in project financial planning and budget development.
• Coordinate field activities and ensure resources and logistics are available.
• Supervise field implementation and address operational challenges.
• Serve as liaison between Operations, other departments and local partners.
• Maintain continuous beneficiary coordination to address needs.
• Communicate with consultants, follow up on service delivery, ensure quality control.
• Represent the organization in local meetings and clusters.
• Collect and analyze field data, prepare progress and final reports in Arabic or English.
• Collaborate with M&E to document success stories and lessons learned.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure budget compliance with Finance.
