Job summary

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering with contract administration experience; you'll manage projects from quotation through shipment and coordinate with engineering, sales and suppliers to keep orders on track.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred; HS diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.
• Contract administration experience preferred.
• Experience managing projects including quotation through shipment.
• Ability to handle non-routine projects and tasks independently within established standards.
• Good understanding of business mathematical concepts.
• Extensive knowledge of company systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements to develop a detailed proposal describing equipment needed.
• Calculate size and determine price, delivery time and financial terms for the product.
• Overall project management responsibility from quotation inception through final inspection.
• Work with engineering to improve flow of product and order processing.
• Provide direct technical consultation with customers, sales and other departments.
• Prepare documentation, proposals or procedures required by the customer.
• Process material/equipment orders and expedite shipping.
• Communicate with all levels of employees, suppliers, customers and peers.
• Maintain ISO quality assurance standards.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area.
• Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
• Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
