Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support scheduling and planning activities for global automotive programs in the US. You will assist the Project Managers and Site Directors, lead L1/L2 scheduling tasks, and help maintain robust planning information and cross-functional coordination.

The role focuses on developing mature PM practices, ensuring resources align with milestones, and delivering timely project updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• 0-2+ years of experience in project coordination or similar roles.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in scheduling and deployment of planning tools.
• Lead or support L1/L2 scheduling activities to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project updates and information flow.

Our company culture gives all our employees the opportunity every day to #Dare.Care.Share.About the Role:Assist the Project Managers or the Site Project Manager/Director in order to ensure scheduling and scheduling tool deployment, such as:Take over some PM specific tasks related to Scheduling and set-up related work productsCould take lead on customer communication for project planning issuesTrain, coach and support PMs and PTMs to establish mature PM practices (e.g. Scheduling activity (L1 and L2))Deploy L1/L2 best practices or Group Templates / standards included in PMO (project management office) trainingEnsure that L1/L2 are supported by appropriate resources / competences to meet plan done by teamEnsure robust link between L1/L2 function to avoid coordination issue or missing information to reach milestonesSupport operational teams and ensure follow-up and resolution of identified improvement on schedulesSupport operational teams to set up scheduling routine review within current Project reviewsCheck and validate Project Team Members’ activities and proposes timing scenario to achieve milestonesEscalate gaps versus targets on above tasks to Department Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) or PA to get Project Steering Committee (PSC) support if Project team is not able to tackle issues at their levelMust be able to support link with resources management functionalitiesmust comply and deploy action plan to meet PMO community objectives in phase with Group strategy ensuring reporting & target achievementWhat You Should Have:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.0-2+ years of experience in related field.Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
