Job summary

Valeo North America is seeking a Project Scheduling Support role to assist PMs and Site Project Managers in deploying scheduling tools and best practices. You will take on PM tasks related to scheduling and ensure the team maintains alignment with milestones.

The position involves coaching PMs on L1/L2 scheduling standards, supporting customer communications, and escalating gaps to QRQC/PSC when needed. This role is ideal for candidates with a business/engineering background and 0–2+ years of

• Ensure L1/L2 are supported by resources to meet planned milestones.
• Maintain a robust link between L1/L2 and milestones to avoid gaps.
• Support scheduling reviews within current Project reviews.

About the Role:

• Assist the Project Managers or the Site Project Manager/Director in order to ensure scheduling and scheduling tool deployment, such as: Take over some PM specific tasks related to Scheduling and set-up related work products.
• Could take lead on customer communication for project planning issues.
• Train, coach and support PMs and PTMs to establish mature PM practices (e.g. Scheduling activity (L1 and L2)).
• Deploy L1/L2 best practices or Group Templates / standards included in PMO (project management office) training.
• Ensure that L1/L2 are supported by appropriate resources / competences to meet plan done by team.
• Ensure robust link between L1/L2 function to avoid coordination issue or missing information to reach milestones.
• Support operational teams and ensure follow-up and resolution of identified improvement on schedules.
• Support operational teams to set up scheduling routine review within current Project reviews.
• Check and validate Project Team Members’ activities and proposes timing scenario to achieve milestones.
• Escalate gaps versus targets on above tasks to Department Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) or PA to get Project Steering Committee (PSC) support if Project team is not able to tackle issues at their level.
• Must be able to support link with resources management functionalities must comply and deploy action plan to meet PMO community objectives in phase with Group strategy ensuring reporting & target achievement.

What You Should Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 0-2+ years of experience in related field.
