The technician performs visual inspections, verifies firmware versions, tests power and signal paths, and documents results to ensure reliable operation in live productions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AV or mechanical training preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with projectors or AV equipment.
• Understanding of projection tech, signal flow, and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC inspections and testing on projection equipment before deployment.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections for damage and irregularities.
• Inspect air filters, ventilation, and cooling performance.
• Test power, signal inputs, and control interfaces for reliability.
• Verify firmware, projector settings, and system configurations.
• Conduct light output and image quality checks to meet standards.
• Document anomalies and maintain QC reports.
• Coordinate with Product teams for further evaluation if needed.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and post-deployment support.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
