Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in AV equipment or related fields preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with projectors or AV equipment.
• Basic understanding of projection technology, AV signal flow, and device interconnections.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely handle and inspect projection equipment.
• Ability to follow QC procedures, documentation, and checklists.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC inspections and functional testing on projection equipment before deployment.
• Conduct visual inspections for damage, contamination, loose components, or irregularities.
• Inspect and service air filters and ventilation for proper cooling performance.
• Test power, signal inputs, and control interfaces to ensure reliable operation.
• Verify firmware versions, projector settings, and system configurations per standards.
• Conduct light output and image quality checks to confirm brightness and clarity.
• Document anomalies and maintain detailed QC reports.
• Coordinate with product teams for further evaluation or service as needed.
• Assist clients with basic troubleshooting and field support, including after-hours when deployed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment for sensitive projection gear.
