How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and modernization of FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) and HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) transmission assets, developing technical knowledge of station equipment, control systems, and protection technologies.
  • Manage the execution of service contracts and upgrade projects by coordinating field service activities, monitoring project schedules, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between customers, Operations Managers, Service Engineers, and internal stakeholders to provide clear communication, resolve issues, and support successful project outcomes.
  • Review customer specifications, RFQs, and technical documentation to develop service proposals, prepare cost estimates, and support the creation of competitive tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with proposal, engineering, and parts teams to identify service opportunities, define technical solutions, and support business development activities through Salesforce opportunity management.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience supporting high-voltage transmission, power systems, or industrial controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, including leading project reviews, outage planning meetings, customer discussions, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to prepare technical reports, project documentation, presentations, schedules, and customer correspondence.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required to customer facilities and project sites, including coordinating personal travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements to support project execution and customer engagement.
  • Strong commitment to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards, with the ability to ensure work is executed in compliance with Siemens Energy policies, customer requirements, applicable regulations, industry standards, and site safety procedures.
