Job summary

Caring Transitions of Reading PA is seeking a Project Team Leader to oversee teams delivering senior relocations and move management services, including downsizing, decluttering, estate sales, and home cleanouts.

You will train and supervise team members, mentor the team, and ensure tasks are planned and executed efficiently while adhering to company guidelines and safety policies.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one-year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding customer service, organizational, written, verbal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and warm work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure all tools and supplies are maintained and reach job sites.
  • Lead the team in executing tasks within allocated labor hours.
  • Report incidents and accidents to management promptly.
  • Monitor and reinforce safety procedures.
  • Communicate updates to clients and management as requested.
  • Meet with management regularly and share project details with the team.
  • Handle employee concerns or disciplinary actions per company policy.
  • Notify management of ongoing or major employee issues or disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of team member hours for payroll.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed per project type (estate sales, relocations, etc.).

Job Title: Project Team Leader

Job Category: Supervisor – non-exempt

Job Description: The Project Team Leader will oversee Team Members as they work together to deliver the Caring Transitions core services of senior relocations and move management, downsizing and decluttering, estate sales, and home cleanouts. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the opportunity to train and supervise team members; develop and mentor the team through flawless planning and execution of tasks assigned on a project basis; Team Leaders are expected to work alongside their project Team Members to complete each project efficiently. Leaders will monitor and reinforce company guidelines, policies, and procedures and ensure safety of team, client, and property. Enjoy a flexible, part-time schedule, mostly weekday and some weekend hours available.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Create a welcoming and warm work environment, demonstrate a drive for results and going above and beyond in service of the client with minimal supervision
  • Ensure all tools and supplies are properly maintained and reach each job site
  • Lead the team in the execution of tasks needed to complete the project with the allocated labor hours
  • Report all incidents and/or accidents to management in a timely manner
  • Monitor/reinforce safety procedures
  • Communicate updates to clients and management as requested
  • Meet routinely with management and communicate aspects of each project to the team
  • Handle any immediate employee concerns or disciplinary needs per Company policy
  • Notify and assist management with any ongoing or major employee issues or disciplinary action
  • Ensure team member hours are being reported accurately to management for payroll in a timely manner
  • Other responsibilities as needed and specific to type of project (estate sales, relocations, clean outs, etc.)
Qualifications & Skills:

Physical/Environmental Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of up to 30lbs, moving, climbing occasionally, transporting, placing and removing household items for staging, liquidation, donation and resettling
  • Walking and/or standing in varying weather environments
  • Frequent walking up and down stairs, possibly while carrying up to 30lbs

Starting Pay:$20-$22/hour, Part-Time, hourly
