Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Project Surveyor/Project Manager to join its collaborative team. This role focuses on leading surveying efforts, combining technical knowledge with professional judgment to resolve geospatial challenges and manage the Survey team.

You will have the opportunity to oversee field work, coordinate data, and drive project delivery from planning through final survey deliverables, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and client

Qualifications

• 5+ years of survey experience in both the field and office.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson software.
• State Survey license or ability to obtain State license.
• Experience with proposal preparation and job estimates.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist discipline leadership with planning and production of surveying deliverables.
• Oversee and manage staff for project assignments; supervise field work.
• Coordinate field scope, data reduction, and final survey deliverables.
• Prepare drafting, CAD files, maps, and reports.
• Plan schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Perform data collection in the field and support surveys.
• Support office tasks including CAD drafting and data research.
• Travel to field as required.
