Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years survey experience in field and office.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson software.
State Survey license or ability to obtain license.
Experience with proposals and job estimates.
Ability to perform complex boundary analysis and maintain quality control.
Proven ability to manage multiple staff to meet deadlines.
Collaborative teamwork with various levels of management and clients.
Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Assist discipline leadership with planning, implementation and production of deliverables for land surveying projects.
Oversee and manage staff for specific project assignments. Supervise field work.
Coordinate and modify field work scope, survey data, data reduction, project plans and revisions.
Write and/or review drafting and CAD file production, draft survey maps, proposals, reports.
Assist in planning schedules and developing tasks and project budgets; prepare progress reports and change orders.
Perform and manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules and deadlines; prepare invoices and payments.
Use reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photos to assess project needs and approach.
Assist with office tasks including CAD drafting, data download, deed/map research, filing.
Collect field data using surveying equipment and software.
Assist in recovery of survey control, monumentation, and construction layout; document area.
Perform other duties as requested.
