Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Atlanta seeks a Project Surveyor to join our team. You will process field survey data using MicroStation and AutoCAD and perform design calculations with a Professional Land Surveyor, ensuring compliance with client specs.

You will gather hydrographic, GPS, lidar, and UAV data, prepare survey deliverables, and stay current with surveying technologies while meeting project deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Georgia license/certification process is outlined and encouraged.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• Aspiration to obtain PLS in Georgia.
• Experience with lidar, UAV, hydrographic surveys.
• Familiarity with GDOT standards and software.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Process field survey data using MicroStation and AutoCAD to create survey drawings.
• Collaborate with a Professional Land Surveyor to perform calculations per standards.
• Ensure all work complies with client standards and documentation.
• Provide assistance to survey team and contribute to problem-solving.
• Interpret engineering documents and data for accurate survey application.
• Perform field data collection and reduction for hydrographic, GPS, lidar, and UAV data.
• Support survey deliverables, including models and reports, with industry tools.
