Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead a major heavy civil project in the greater Kingsport area. The role oversees 30-40 employees on grading and utility work and coordinates 15+ subcontractors to keep the project on design, budget, and schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of superintendent experience in heavy civil construction; TDOT exposure is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Superintendent experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience leading 30-40 person crews and coordinating 15+ subcontractors.
• TDOT experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site teams to deliver grading and utility projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate management of 15+ subcontractors and multiple vendors.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, safety, and quality standards.

Job description

Heavy civil construction company needs a Project Superintendent to lead a major civil project in the greater Kingsport area.

The Project Superintendent will lead 30-40 employees working on grading and utility projects. Will also coordinate 15+ subcontractors. The Superintendent will ensure projects are completed within design, budget, and schedule. Projects range from $5M to $90M.

Must have 5+ years Superintendent experience in heavy civil construction. Ideal candidate will have experience working with TDOT, but this not required.

Strong salary and benefits package will be offered. There is no travel involved with this job.
