Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking full-time Project Superintendents to lead ground-up, wood-frame multifamily projects. Local roles in Austin, Chicago, Atlanta, Raleigh, Tampa, Orlando and Rochester plus traveling roles across the Southeast or Midwest.

You’ll own the jobsite from mobilization through turnover, driving schedule, safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years with multifamily GC, OSHA 30 preferred, and willingness to relocate or travel regionally.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• Ground-up wood-frame multifamily project experience is required.
• Construction Management or related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day on-site activities across multiple projects.
• Develop and drive project schedules with three-week look-aheads.
• Supervise on-site personnel and subs to ensure safety and quality.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance on site.
• Conduct regular inspections to meet specs and standards.
• Monitor budgets with PM and assist risk mitigation.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, architects, subs, and suppliers.

Job Description

We are hiring Project Superintendents to lead ground-up, wood-frame multifamily projects from start to finish. Openings include local roles in Austin, Chicago, Atlanta, Raleigh, Tampa, Orlando and Rochester, Minnesota, plus traveling roles across the Southeast or the Midwest. You will own the jobsite from mobilization through turnover and directly shape project success, team performance and client satisfaction.

Select Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day on-site activities, including on multiple projects at once
• Develop and drive project schedules and three-week look-aheads so key milestones are met
• Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors and keep a productive, safe jobsite
• Enforce safety protocols, run site safety training and ensure OSHA compliance
• Conduct regular inspections so all work meets project specifications and quality standards
• Monitor budgets with the Project Manager and help mitigate financial risk
• Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, architects, subcontractors and suppliers

Ideal Candidate

• 3 to 5+ years as a Project Superintendent with a multifamily general contractor
• Ground-up wood-frame multifamily experience, start to finish
• Construction Management or related degree preferred
• OSHA 30 preferred; construction management software (Procore or similar) and MS Office
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, one of the markets above; OR open to regional travel for traveling roles
