Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Project Superintendent in the DC Metro / Northern Virginia region. You will lead site activities, review constructability, coordinate with clients and trades, and maintain safety and quality commitments on the project.

You will work with the Project Manager to drive the work plan, oversee subcontractor efforts, and ensure timely execution while upholding project standards and company values. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent.
• Completed training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.

Responsibilities

• Represent Christman at the project site and set expectations for safety, quality, and conduct.
• Review documents for constructability, phasing options, site logistics, and temporary protections.
• Coordinate with PM, client, and trade contractors to develop the project work plan.
• Plan and coordinate site logistics, traffic patterns, equipment locations, and storage.
• Oversee trade contract work to align with the project schedule and budget.
• Manage submittals, approvals, and permitting; maintain rolling punch list and ensure final quality.
