Job summary

Christman Company is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead field operations in Greensboro, NC, ensuring safety, quality, and timely execution of the project. You will review drawings, coordinate with PM and trade contractors, and drive progress through proactive planning and site leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 5+ years in a supervisory construction role, and strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent.
• Completion of classes or training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
• Or Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures representation at the project site and sets expectations for safety, quality, and conduct.
• Reviews design documents for constructability, phasing, site logistics, and field issues.
• Develops site safety program and leads hazard management.
• Plans and coordinates site logistics, traffic patterns, equipment locations, and storage.
• Coordinates with Project Manager, client, and trade contractors to develop work plans and progress meetings.
• Oversees trade coordination, submittals, and inspections; manages cost control and scheduling.
