Job Overview

Global Power & Construction Inc. (GPC) is seeking a highly motivated Project Superintendent to manage and execute complex commercial and industrial construction projects in the Omaha, NE region, with potential to oversee projects nationwide. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, subcontractor management, site safety oversight, and schedule management. You will be the on-site leader, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and with high quality standards.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and revise the project schedule (minimum bi-weekly).
2. Oversee daily operations and jobsite coordination from start to finish.
3. Complete daily field reports and weekly updates, including progress photos.
4. Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and company protocols.
5. Collaborate with the Project Manager on submittals, scopes, and communication with owners.
6. Conduct weekly safety meetings and environmental reports.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization on all job sites.
8. Approve and track Time & Material tickets with proper documentation.
9. Support field purchasing, ensuring costs are pre-approved.
10. Communicate proactively with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction supervision or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial construction processes, including ground-up, site work, framing, MEPs, and finishes.
• Familiarity with union labor is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, scopes, and submittals.
• Experience with construction management software and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town sites.
• OSHA certification preferred.
