Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Florida is seeking a Project Superintendent for a design-build highway and bridge project north of Tampa Bay. You will lead the field team, manage foremen and subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule and budget in the FDOT environment.

This full-time onsite role requires 5–7+ years of bridge experience, relocation readiness, and working knowledge of FDOT contracts. You will coordinate with engineers and inspectors, and contribute to a career-building project.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of bridge experience on heavy highway and bridge construction.
• Experience as a superintendent on bridge or interchange projects.
• Working knowledge of FDOT contracts, specs and reporting.
• OSHA 'competent person' certification.
• Clean driving record.
• Design-build experience is a plus.
• Based in Tampa Bay or Central Florida, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on bridge and highway work.
• Schedule foremen, crews and subcontractors.
• Set production goals and enforce them.
• Plan the work with the project manager and engineers.
• Own site safety and act as OSHA competent person.
• Coordinate with FDOT inspectors and the owner's team.
• Track quantities, production and field costs against budget.
• Maintain daily reports and field documentation.
• Coordinate material, equipment and deliveries.

An established heavy civil contractor is hiring a Project Superintendent for a design build highway and bridge job north of Tampa Bay. This is a strong opportunity for a Bridge Superintendent, Structures Superintendent or Project Superintendent who wants to run the field on a sizable job for a stable employer. You'll run foremen and subcontractors, set production and own safety, schedule and budget in the field, much of it FDOT work. Tampa Bay and Central Florida locals are great, and candidates ready to relocate are welcome.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Run daily field operations on bridge and highway work

• Work directly with FDOT inspectors and the owner's team
