Job summary

Saxon Global is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead onsite activities in San Diego, coordinating subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and deliveries. You will drive quality and safety while maintaining strong client and project team relationships.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, managing TI projects, and mentoring field personnel. This role requires proven leadership and a track record in commercial interiors and renovations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
• Experience with TI, commercial interiors, finishes, renovations.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, field practices.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, schedules, plans.
• Experience with Procore and Bluebeam; MS Project and MS Office is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, and project teams.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive jobsite.

• Lead onsite meetings and provide clear and timely project updates.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure construction meets plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
• Manage inspections, punch lists, corrective work, and project closeout.
• Lead daily and weekly safety efforts, including safety meetings and jobsite inspections.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and field documentation.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and quality.
• Mentor and develop field personnel and help build future construction leaders.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
• Strong experience with Tenant Improvement (TI), commercial interiors, finishes, and/or commercial renovations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and field practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and plans.
• Experience with Procore and Bluebeam; knowledge of MS Project and MS Office is a plus.
