Job summary

Prince is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead Florida bridge construction sites, managing foremen, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure work aligns with drawings, specs and safety rules. You will work with estimators and engineers on quantities and progress, develop client relations with owners, consultants and public agencies, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Required: 5–7 years of bridge experience, strong communication, FDOT contract knowledge, and a clean driving

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule foremen and subcontractors
• Assist estimators and engineers with quantities and progress
• Develop and maintain positive client relations (owner, clients, consultants, public)
• Coach, supervise and train foreman and field employees on the project site(s)
• Establish performance and production goals for project teams
• Confer with management and engineers, inspectors and suppliers to resolve construction problems
• Manage all construction activities in accordance with contract specs and drawings and safety regulations
• Execute construction activities in line with schedule and budget
• Review project performance and recommend corrective actions
• Implement company policies and procedures
• Assist with On-the-Job Training

• Confer with management and engineers, inspectors and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods
• Manage all the construction activities of the project in accordance with contract specifications and drawings and in full compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations
• Execute construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budget
• Review project performance on a continuing basis and recommend to project manager corrective actions as needed
• Implement the Company policies and procedures
• Assist with On-the-Job Training

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of bridge experience in Heavy/Highway/Bridge construction
• Excellent interpersonal skills to include strong verbal and written communication
• Must possess knowledge of FDOT contracts, specifications, and reports
• Must be able to think independently and solve problems effectively
• Must have an excellent driving record
