Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead bridge projects in Florida. You will oversee foremen and subcontractors on-site, coordinate with estimators and engineers, and maintain strong client relations with owners and consultants.

Responsibilities include coaching field crews, setting performance goals, and ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance. A hands-on leader with problem-solving skills will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of bridge experience in Heavy/Highway/Bridge construction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of FDOT contracts, specifications, and reports.
• Ability to think independently and solve problems effectively.
• Must have an excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule foremen and subcontractors on the project site.
• Assist estimators and engineers with quantities and productions.
• Develop and maintain positive client relations (owner, clients, consultants, public).
• Coach, supervise and train foreman and field employees on the project site(s).
• Establish performance and production goals for project teams.
• Confer with management and engineers, inspectors and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
• Manage all the construction activities of the project in accordance with contract specifications and drawings and in full compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations.
• Execute construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budget.
• Review project performance on a continuing basis and recommend to project manager corrective actions as needed.
• Implement the Company policies and procedures.
• Assist with On-the-Job Training.
