Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Project Specialist-Logistics Coordinator to join a leading technology services team. This full-time role is based 100% onsite in RTP and is pivotal in managing logistics for the Wireless Survey Depot and supporting CAP engagements. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of transactional projects through meticulous planning and coordination. This position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage governance around transactional project engagements to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams to align resources, timelines, equipment, scope of work, and budgetary considerations.
  • Maintain and update project statuses within the designated reporting tools to ensure accuracy and current data availability.
  • Plan and optimize logistics concerning transactional projects which include scheduling, overseeing travel arrangements, managing resource lead times, and establishing a decision-making hierarchy.
  • Work onsite as required to meet stringent project timelines and requirements, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently.
  • Coordinate the shipping and return of equipment in alignment with project schedules.
  • Schedule and manage engineers and site surveyors to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, devising effective response and mitigation strategies to address them promptly.

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Technical field or equivalent practical experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Logistics or Project Coordination within a multifunctional, collaborative environment.
  • Professional certification such as CAPM, PMP, or Certified SCRUM Master is highly desirable, either attained or currently being pursued.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite (including Project), Smartsheet, Gantt Charts, JIRA, Oracle Projects, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working constructively with diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to identify risks and create effective strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ability to attend and contribute to necessary meetings to ensure alignment with overall service and client requirements.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
