Job summary

ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City seeks an entry-level Project Specialist I to support staff on special projects, develop schedules for proposals and ongoing programs, and assist with project scope, deliverables, risk assessments, tracking, and status reporting.

You may specialize in IT or Laboratory functions and will collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure compliance with procedures, coordinate communications, and provide data analysis and documentation to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Supports department staff in project management activities.
• Assists in planning and implementation of small and medium projects with oversight.
• Coordinates and collaborates with subject matter experts to conduct data analysis and risk assessments in relation to compliance with established procedures.
• Presents analysis results to managers, the Project Management Office, or senior management.
• Tracks proposed projects and track and resolve issues related to the proposed projects.
