Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a Project Scientist to lead environmental projects including ESAs, spill response, and remediation. You will manage budgets, proposals, client and regulator communications, and oversee field staff to ensure quality reporting.

The role includes mentoring junior staff, coordinating resources, and directing project life cycles from setup to final reporting. Texas regulatory experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to independently analyze and interpret technical reports and regulations.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage Phase I & II ESAs and related investigations.
• Manage active remediation sites and related services.
• Generate cost estimates for environmental projects.
• Coordinate and direct field staff and subcontractors.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare and execute scope of work proposals.
• Produce and review reports and regulatory documents.
• Manage projects through all life-cycle stages with clients and regulators.
