DivIHN Integration Inc. is seeking a Project Scheduler in Wilmington, NC to develop and maintain integrated schedules across multiple capital projects.

The role requires coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure milestone delivery and implementing the Last Planner System for improved planning reliability. You will drive schedule accuracy, establish baselines, and produce dashboards and executive summaries while coaching teams in scheduling best practices.

Qualifications

  • AAS degree or higher with 2–7 years in manufacturing.
  • 5+ years scheduling, project controls, or PM experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project & Primavera P6.
  • CPM, forecasting, resource planning, risk management.
  • PMP/ PMI-SP or Lean cert is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting/dashboard skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze integrated project schedules across multiple active projects.
  • Establish baselines, perform critical path analysis, and evaluate schedule impacts.
  • Monitor progress, forecast completion dates, and manage schedule risks.
  • Facilitate Last Planner System (LPS) activities and pull planning.
  • Track PPC and portfolio health; prepare dashboards and executive summaries.

Title: Project Scheduler

Location: Wilmington, NC

Duration: 6+ Months

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Travel: Occasional travel may be required to vendor locations (Client Optical Fiber and Cable Manufacturing sites in North Carolina) to gather equipment-related information; travel is expected to be minimal.

Role Summary
The Project Scheduler serves as the primary source for developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrated schedules across a portfolio of capital projects. This role supports projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from design and planning through execution, commissioning, and closeout. The Scheduler drives schedule accuracy, visibility, and accountability by partnering with Project Leaders, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to identify risks, manage constraints, and ensure successful milestone delivery. This position also leads the implementation of the Last Planner System (LPS), facilitating collaborative planning processes that improve project performance and execution reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules across multiple active projects.
  • Establish project baselines, conduct critical path analysis, and evaluate schedule impacts and recovery plans.
  • Partners with Project Leaders and project teams to monitor progress, forecast completion dates, and manage schedule risks.
  • Facilitate Last Planner System (LPS) activities, including pull planning, look-ahead planning, weekly work planning, and constraint management.
  • Track and report schedule performance metrics, including Percent Plan Complete (PPC) and portfolio health indicators.
  • Prepare portfolio-level dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries.
  • Support project reviews, governance processes, and leadership reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling processes, planning standards, and project execution effectiveness.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance on scheduling best practices and LPS methodologies.
Required Education & Skills
  • AAS degree or higher, experience in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field. At least 2 - 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of scheduling, project controls, or project management experience. Strong teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to safety.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or comparable scheduling tools.
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM), schedule forecasting, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Experience with Lean Construction principles and Last Planner System preferred.
  • PMP, PMI-SP, or Lean Construction certifications are a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting/dashboard development skills.
Desired Skills
  • Serves as the organization's scheduling SME Background in manufacturing or construction environments.
  • Coaches and trains project teams on scheduling best practices., experience in optical fiber manufacturing is a plus.
  • Promotes adoption of LPS and standard work processes
  • Strong knowledge of Last Planner System principles and application
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling software
  • Understanding of Sequencing construction activities and field execution
  • Experienced in Critical Path Method scheduling
Hours of Work/Work Schedule
  • 40 hours+ M-F, adjusted hours.
  • This position is overtime exempt.
