Job summary

A leading consulting firm based in Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler. The successful candidate will develop and manage schedules for approximately 185 concurrent projects in the oil & gas sector. Responsibilities include coordinating across multiple stakeholders, tracking progress, and mitigating scheduling risks. Essential qualifications include a minimum of 10 years in scheduling, proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Associate Degree required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of scheduling experience required.
  • 15+ years preferred.
  • Experience supporting product replacement, well connection projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with upstream or midstream operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for product replacement and well connection activities.
  • Coordinate scheduling activities across multiple contractors and stakeholders.
  • Manage schedules for ~185 concurrent projects.
  • Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Track progress against milestones and communicate impacts.
  • Support rapid replanning as project scopes change.
  • Ensure schedules support commercial objectives.

Skills

Experience in oil & gas, energy, industrial, or infrastructure project scheduling environments
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent project schedules
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
Strong understanding of project sequencing, dependencies, and critical path concepts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, commercially driven environments
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

Education

Job description

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Project Scheduler to support rapidly moving product replacement and well connection initiatives, and ensure projects are scheduled efficiently. The scheduler manages ~185 concurrent projects in a fast?paced, dynamic environment involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and frequent changes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously update detailed project schedules for product replacement and well connection activities
  • Coordinate scheduling activities across multiple workstreams, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage schedules for a high volume of concurrent projects (~185 projects), ensuring alignment with commercial commitments and execution priorities
  • Identify schedule risks, conflicts, and dependencies; propose mitigation strategies to maintain target start dates
  • Track progress against milestones and communicate schedule impacts clearly and proactively
  • Support rapid replanning as project scopes, priorities, or field conditions change
  • Ensure schedules support early production targets and overall commercial objectives
  • Operate effectively in a fast?paced, dynamic environment with frequent changes requiring rapid decision-making
Skills Required
