Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to support a Terafab manufacturing expansion project in Austin, TX. This role owns the project's master schedule and partners with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup teams to drive timely delivery.

You will develop and maintain integrated Primavera P6 schedules, monitor the critical path, and perform schedule risk analyses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction scheduling experience.
• Advanced Primavera P6 experience.
• Strong CPM scheduling understanding.
• Experience with industrial megaprojects or similar.
• Experience with EVM, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated, resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules
• Build and manage project baseline schedules and schedule updates
• Monitor critical path activities, milestones, float erosion, and schedule performance
• Conduct schedule impact analysis and recovery planning
• Support earned value management (EVM), forecasting, and variance analysis
• Generate executive-level reports, dashboards, and project controls metrics
• Lead weekly schedule review meetings with project teams and contractors
• Maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules with field and construction teams
• Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup teams
• Escalate project risks, delays, and schedule constraints to leadership
• Perform schedule compression and "what-if" scenario analysis to support project decision-making

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to support a highly visible Terafab manufacturing expansion project in Austin, TX. This individual will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex construction schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities.

This position is ideal for a scheduler with experience supporting large-scale industrial, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or mission-critical construction projects who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with project teams to drive successful project execution.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Project Controls Scheduler, you will serve as the primary owner of the project's master schedule, helping leadership understand project progress, schedule risks, critical path impacts, and recovery opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain integrated, resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules
• Build and manage project baseline schedules and schedule updates

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction scheduling experience
• Advanced Primavera P6 experience
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
• Experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, cleanroom, battery manufacturing, mission-critical, or similar industrial construction projects
• Experience developing baseline schedules, schedule updates, recovery plans, and impact analyses
• Earned Value Management (EVM), forecasting, and schedule performance experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, vendors, field teams, and leadership
• Experience working in complex, fast-paced construction environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Semiconductor fabrication facility (fab) project experience with companies such as Samsung, Intel, Micron, TSMC, GlobalFoundries, Texas Instruments, or similar
• Experience supporting industrial megaprojects valued at $100M+
• Commissioning and startup scheduling experience
• Resource loading and cost loading experience
• EPC, design-build, or owner-side project controls experience
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel
