RES is seeking a Project Safety Manager I to implement the RES System (SMS) on wind, solar, substation, transmission, or energy storage projects in the US or Canada. The role emphasizes coaching, regulatory liaison, audits, incident investigations, and the development of Site Safety Plans and JHAs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Construction Industry Safety experience required.
• 3+ years Energy/Utility Industry Safety experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel 76-100%.

Responsibilities

• Promotes company safety culture through coaching, development, influence, and training.
• Acts as SME and liaison for health and safety for the project team and client.
• Leads safety-related discussions at POD, All Hands, Tailgate, Staff, Kickoff/Preparatory, and Client/Owner Meetings.
• Develops Site Safety Plan, Site Rules, Emergency Response Plan, JHA, and Site Orientation.
• Oversees Permit to Work processes.
• Delivers training on Safety Initiatives, Site Orientation, Work Instructions, SMS requirements, and regulatory requirements.
• Drives implementation of proposed Corrective Actions to completion.
• Maintains incident data and safety metrics to compile reports.
