Sussex Technical High School seeks Project RESPECT Educators to join a district-wide equity-focused professional learning initiative. Multiple positions are available for the 2026-2027 SY, with reporting to the Principal or designee and placement at Sussex Technical High School.

The program runs Fall 2026 through Spring 2027, offering a stipend and professional resources. Participants will engage in in-person sessions, PLCs, and online learning, with collaboration across MLL teachers,

• Discuss problems of practice with colleagues.
• Explore readings, podcasts, videos, and resources.
• Collaboratively plan instruction focused on multilingual learners' language and literacy development goals.
• Try out new instructional strategies and collect classroom evidence of student learning.
• Identify ways to refine your practices to better support multilingual learners.
• Reflect on asset-based approaches to supporting ML students and families.
