Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality programs on capital projects. You will surveil contractor and supplier activities, review QC plans and records, and report findings to the project quality lead.

This role focuses on ensuring conformance rather than running a contractor crew. The position involves field presence and document review, with opportunities to progress to Project Quality Manager II and gain exposure to internal ISO 9001

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
