Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review quality documentation, and help track audit findings to closure.

The role suits someone who wants to understand quality from the requirements side and be hands-on with documentation. In this position you will witness hold points, review inspection records, and prepare weekly quality status inputs for

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
