Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner- or EPC-side quality programs, overseeing surveillance of contractor and supplier activities and ensuring documentation and inspections conform to the project plan.

You will review QC plans, track findings, and report status to the project quality lead, bridging field work with rigorous record-keeping while maintaining strict adherence to ISO 9001 principles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
