Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner side of a capital project. You will support the project quality program by surveilling contractor and supplier quality activities, reviewing records, and reporting status to the project quality lead.

The role suits an inspector or QC engineer who wants to write the requirements and see quality from the owning side, not the contractor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in QA/quality control on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be on active jobsites.
• Clear written reporting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specs.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
