Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner side of capital projects to support the project quality program. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review quality documentation, and report status to the project quality lead.

Your week blends field work with document review—witnessing hold points, checking inspection records, and tracking audit findings to closure, while ensuring records match the required standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identifying gaps
• Clear written reporting
• Organized in document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
