Job summary

Construction Material Testing in the United States is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's side, writing the project quality plan and overseeing audits.

You will plan surveillance of contractors and suppliers, qualify vendors, review QC plans, and report metrics to project leadership. The role requires 6+ years of quality experience on capital projects and ISO 9001 auditor credentials.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
