Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's side, writing the project quality plan, setting surveillance and audit programs, and reporting metrics to leadership. You will qualify vendors, review contractor QC plans, and manage nonconformance and corrective actions to ensure turnover readiness.

The role requires 6+ years in quality on large-scale projects, with ISO 9001 lead/auditor credentials and experience with owner-side

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects, including 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification is required or preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
• Coordinate weekly plan including audits, hold points, corrective actions, and monthly quality report.
