Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's or EPC's side, writing the project quality plan and setting surveillance programs. You will oversee audits, vendor qualification, and the review of QC plans, ITPs, and inspector qualifications, and you will drive nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned.

With 6+ years in quality on large projects and certifications like ISO 9001 lead auditor or ASQ CQA, you

Qualifications

6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects
2+ years leading a project quality program
ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification
Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work
Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them.

Responsibilities

Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it
Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers
Qualify vendors and inspection agencies
Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications
Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes
Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization
